Why Banksy is the street artist you need to be following

The world is falling apart. We live in the day and age where it’s hard to remember the last time the world wasn’t coming apart at the seams. Yet through all this death and destruction, art somehow manages to thrive. Art showcases the beauty in the grim reality that is our world, and sometimes art helps capture the angst. It’s the latter part where Banksy comes in.

Banksy is a street artist who’s sprayed the streets of London with his graffiti. As to who he is, no one knows, and no one seems to care, because his is the voice that needs to be heard. Thought provoking and grim, his street art resonates with the people, especially the youth. In a world that is ruled by chaos and destruction, art manages to strive. Banksy's street art is the voice of dissent our world needs. His art makes a statement, a statement many would be afraid to make.

Here’s some of his street art.
