Documents to submit

1. Your original passport

2. Canada Visa application form

  • Duly filled and signed

3. Photographs

  • Two recent passport-size photographs (Size: 35 mm x 45 mm) having either matte or semi-matte finish
  • Must have a minimum 60% to 80% face coverage and white background without any border
  • Mention the name and date of birth at the back of the photo
  • Should not be more than three months old
  • Should not be stapled or scanned
  • Should not have already been used in any previous form

4. Cover Letter

  • Original cover letter (from you if you are the applicant) on company letter head
  • Mention your name and designation as well as your passport number, purpose of visit and duration of stay
  • Must be duly signed by an authorised signatory with company stamp
  • Should be addressed to 'The Visa Officer, Canadian High Commission, New Delhi'
  • Also remember that the cover letter must be on the company letter head if you are self-employed while on plain paper if you employed in a firm

4. Bank statement

  • Must reflect the transactions of last 6 months
  • Along with a copy of credit card or your Foreign Exchange endorsement or travelers check or Fixed Deposits or your property paper or occupational viability

5. Proof of employment

  • Either your salary slip or your company Appointment Letter or a No Objection Certificate from your employee
  • Do mention your (applicant's) name, designation, date of commencement of job, current salary, in addition to your employer's name, address and the telephone number
