You may choose a full day Windsor, Stonehenge and Oxford on a seat in coach basis– a combination tour which allows you a glimpse of history. You can pay the entrance fee and visit the grand interiors and view the magnanimous State Apartments, a place where royal ceremonies and functions are conducted to date. Continue to the inspiring Oxford city. This city, homes one of the most famous universities in the world the Oxford University, which boasts of alumni ranging from Oscar Wilde, Stephen Hawking, Tony Blair to J. R. R. Tolkien. For all the Potter heads, there’s the Christ Church at Oxford, where Harry Potter was shot. You’ll also get a chance to visit the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe with over 11 million items. Thousands of books and its old world architecture will transport you to a place where time stands still. Visit the famous Sheldonian Theatre, built in the 17th century. Design resembling that of the Roman theatre, no plays are performed here, but is instead used for musical concerts and lectures. Alternately, you may spend the day admiring enormous and very English 13th century Salisbury castle followed by a visit to Stonehenge and Roman baths in Bath. Head back to the hotel by yourself and spend a peaceful night in your room at London.
