An important part of Diwali is all the food that is prepared. The sweets are unique to this festival, each with their own flavour, bound to leave you licking your fingers. In Diwali it’s not just the people who garb festive clothing, but the houses are decorated too, to match the beauty and lights and that is spread all around. This preparations begin a few days in advance, where the entire family pitches in to clean the house, set up the lights and lanterns. All these activities help the family bond; and when all the people you love are in it together, something even as mundane as cleaning becomes fun.
