1. Rani Lakshmibai - Jhansi

If you plan to travel to this place, you must visit the Fort of Jhansi which stands tall on a rocky hill. You can also explore the Rani Mahal, a museum, where you can admire the glorious artifacts and relive history. You can travel a little more and witness the Khajuraho Group of Monuments, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and marvel at the mesmerizing architecture of the Hindu and Jain temples.

You can travel to the hometown of this hero and visit the magnificent Golden Temple and experience your spiritual bonding with the Almighty. You can also visit the Jallianwala Bagh and pay tribute to the martyrs. Before sunset, you can also witness the Wagah border ceremony at the India–Pakistan international border near Wagah.

5. Lokmanya Tilak - Ratnagiri

This place is also well-known for its Alphonso mangoes.

6. Mahatma Gandhi - Porbandar, Gujarat

The Father of our Nation who fought for our freedom by practicing non-violence was born in Porbandar. When you are in Porbandar, do visit Kirti Mandir - the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, Shri Hari Mandir, Bileshwara Shiva temple, and the Barda Wildlife sanctuary.

7. Tipu Sultan - Mysore
