The Fort Pokaran Heritage Hotel

Tucked away on the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer highway, Fort Pokaran was built in the 14th century. It has now been converted into a heritage hotel with 19 rooms and suites. During the shooting of Parmanu, actors John Abraham and Diana Penty stayed at this luxurious hotel.

The architecture of Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli is a blend of Rajput architecture and Islamic art. Catch a glimpse of the breathtaking carvings engraved on the pillars and walls of this haveli. There are carvings of horses, cattle, different flora and of modern amenities that include cars, fans and lots more. You’ll find two life-size replicas of elephants made of yellow stone at the entrance.

Patwon Ji Ki Haveli

A cluster of five havelis, the Patwon Ji Ki Haveli is the largest and the first haveli of its kind built in Jaisalmer. Built in yellow sandstone, the amazing architecture of these havelis attract travellers from across the globe. You’ll fall in love with the beautiful latticework on its porticos that are made out of stone and wood. This haveli is famed for its intricate yellow sandstone-carved balconies and ornate wall paintings. Do check out the apartment which is home to striking murals.
