Who created these Seven Magic Mountains
This masterpiece in the desert setting is the creation of
Ugo Rondinone, the Swiss artist. He is a celebrated artist, known for his spray paintings and creative sculptures.
Story behind these Seven Magic Mountains
Ugo Rondinone cut
huge boulders that were present in the nearby quarry. Then, he
painted them with bright coats of neon. Later, he
stacked these painted boulders into towers.
This
artwork was inspired by cairns that are used as
trail markers in many places around the world. These vibrant pieces of rock are a crowd puller; they exude happy vibes.
When to visit this Land Art Exhibition
This
art exhibition opened to the public on 11th May, 2016. Since then, travellers from across the globe have been flocking to this place to capture shots of these colourful rocks. The
display will remain open till the end of 2018.
