In order to boost tourism, the government of Zimbabwe has rolled out visa on arrival for 28 countries. Some of the countries moved into this category include India, Armenia, Ethiopia, Mexico, Romania and Panama. This announcement was made by Clement Masango, Department of Immigration Principal Director, in Victoria Falls during the National Tourism Strategy Workshop. Good news is that the changes are with immediate effect. This ease of rule brings a big relief to travellers and is sure to increase the tourist flow into Zimbabwe. Earlier, the Zimbabwe visas would take more than four working days and were processed through the embassy in New Delhi. The national carrier, Air Zimbabwe, will also be revamped to make life easy for travelers.
