Join in UAE's National Day celebration

A grand show following the theme "Seeds of union" will be held in Abu Dhabi.

UAE is celebrating its 49th National Day on 2nd December 2020. It marks the unification between the 7 emirates as one nation. The UAE has confirmed a three-day-long public holiday from the 1st marking Commemoration day and 2-3 for National Day.

The theme of UAE National Day 2020 is, “Seeds of the union”. A grand show following the theme will be held in Abu Dhabi. The live show will have moving sculptures surrounded by sea and illuminated by digital visuals that portray themes that are inspired by the history, values and journey of the UAE in the last 49 years, transforming from a seed to full bloom. The committee aims at creating a memorable live event that will capture the nation’s imagination. The show will be broadcasted for the viewers to watch from their homes, to avoid crowding.

The cities most famous landmark, The Burj Khalifa will be lit up in the flag colours and will be accompanied by a light and music show at the Dubai Fountain. This will be held from 1-3 December 2020.
Along with its amazing fireworks display, Dubai Festival City will also be having a UAE themed laser show at the water of Festival Bay.
The Global Village will also be hosting a number of activities along with the fireworks on account of National Day in Dubai including, Special Opera, Parades and a lot of entertainment, shopping and food.
