“Whatever actions are performed by a man under whatever circumstances, he gets the fruits of those actions under whatever circumstances they may be performed."

Remember watching the television series, Mahabharat? Well, interesting characters and stories of this mythological program kept us glued to the screen. It depicted the political structure of the society which led to the battle between the Pandavas and Kauravas in Kurukshetra for the throne of Hastinapura. It also enlightened us with the concept of the ‘liberation of the soul’ through the conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna. Other significant characters of this epic were Karna, Draupadi, Bhima, Yudhishthira, Shakuni, Bhishma, Abhimanyu, Ashwatthama, and Duryodhana. Narrated by Ved Vyasa and written by Lord Ganesha, the ancient epic of Mahabharata is now inspiring filmmakers as well. We will soon see it on the big screen.
