The Maldives grants Visa on arrival for all tourists including Indians for a period of 30 days.

You do not require a Visa prior to arriving in the Maldives. The Visa has to be obtained from the airport upon arrival in the country. The Maldives Government does not charge for the Visa on arrival. However, if you wish to extend your trip, an extension of up to 60 days is granted at an additional cost.
Maldives Visa requirements
- The passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of travel.
- Confirmed return or onward air tickets.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel booking confirmation for your stay in the Maldives.
- 2 passport size photographs (35mm*44mm).
- Sufficient funds for your stay duration.
Maldives Visa process
On arrival at the Male international airport, you are required to fill out a Maldives tourist form. After filling the form you are required to submit the documents required by the government. The Immigration officer will ask you a few questions about your trip after which your Maldives Visa will be stamped on your passport.
