Day1
|
Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport, and set off for an exciting road trip to Phuentsholingvia Gateway of Bhutan which is approximately 170 kilometers away. Arrive at the hotel and check-in. Relax for the night at your hotel.

Day2
|
Enjoy your breakfast, check-out and get transferred to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Check-in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit 1 Tashichho Dzong that literally translates to ‘Fortress of Glorious Religion’. Return to the hotel and spend a relaxing overnight stay in Thimpu.

Day3
|
After breakfast, head for a city tour of Thimpu. Visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), King's Memorial Chorten, and the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, head to your next stop, Punakha/Wangdue Phodrang via Dochula Pass. You will experience Himalayas in its entire majesty here. Check-in to your hotel and relax for the night.

Day4
|
After breakfast, get ready for a full-day excursion to Phobjikha Valley or Gangteng Valley. Bird-watchers will find an excellent opportunity to spot the black-necked crane, which migrates from the arid plains of Tibet in the North. This beguiling valley encircles the Gangteng Monastery from where it gets its name. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day5
|
After breakfast, check-out and visit Punakha Dzong, an erstwhile fortress and a Buddhist monastery that is now in ruins. Your will next visit Chimi Lhakhang, a Buddhist temple of fertility. In the afternoon, begin your journey to Paro. Check-in to your hotel here and relax for the night.

Day6
|
Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and head to Ta Dzong which was a watchtower of the fortress Trongsa Dzong that is now converted into a state-of-the art museum (National Museum). Your next stop will be the Drukgyal Dzong, an erstwhile fortress and a Buddhist monastery that is now in ruins. Your next stop will be Kyichu Lhakhang, a famous Buddhist temple. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day7
|
Begin your day with a good breakfast and visit Taktsang Palphug Monastery or Paro Taktsang which is a sacred temple complex, located on a cliff. It is popularly known as Tiger’s Nest because legend has it that Guru Rinpoche reached here on the back of a flying tiger and meditated for several months. You will have to hike for about 2 hours from the base to reach this place to experience a breathtaking view of the valley. Your next stop for the day will be Kitchu Monastery. Return to your hotel for the night.

Day8
|
Savour your breakfast in the heart-warming town of Paro, check-out and head to Phuentsholing. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

|
After breakfast, check-out and head to the airport/railway station for journey back home.
