Day1 | As you land in Cairns International Airport, you will be greeted by its languid tropical climate and a relaxed ambience. The city is your doorway to the Northern fringes of Queensland as it houses several World Heritage Sites, most of which are tropical rain forests. Head out from the airport towards your accommodation in Cairns and check in. As per your time and date of arrival, an Aboriginal Cultural Experience for families is recommended, where you will get a chance to see the rich cultural heritage of the indigenous dwellers of Australia along with a unique dining experience. As for couples, the Rainforest Dinner is highly recommended as you get a chance to savour sumptuous local cuisine amidst a romantic forest setting. Day2 | Welcome this day warmly as it has in store for you some amazing and memorable experiences. One of the world’s most beautiful rainforest beckons you. A coach will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the Freshwater station. From here, you will board a train to Kuranda. The Scenic Rail journey will take you through some of the oldest rainforests in the world. You will pass the cascading Stony Creek Falls and cross around 93 curves, dozens of bridges and 15 tunnels.
After you arrive at Tjapukai, visit the Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, which offers a glimpse of the indigenous Australian culture. Have fun while you learn to play a didgeridoo and to throw a spear and boomerang from the performers. Gain insights into their life and origin from the History Theatre and Creation theatre, as you interact with live performers. While returning, enjoy Sky rail, which is a 7.7 km long cableway that glides just over the lush canopy of Australia’s Tropical Rainforests that are listed in the World Heritage sites and is located in the Barron Gorge National Park. The view of the rainforest along with the vistas of the landscapes of the Coral Sea, the Cairns Highlands, Cairns city and the rolling mountain ranges is splendid.
After the scenic sightseeing head back to your hotel in Cairns for an overnight stay. |
Day3 | After a wholesome breakfast, get ready to visit the spectacular Great Barrier Reef. Board a catamaran and sail to this lush island and see the renowned Great Barrier Reef. Green Island is an ideal destination to enjoy various water activities like snorkelling, diving and diving. The view of the coral reef from this beautiful coral cay is breathtaking. You can either explore the Green Island National Park or just laze around on the sandy beaches here. A ride on the semi -submarine followed by a local lunch are included in the tour.

Day4 | Relish a lavish buffet breakfast in the morning and embark on a self-drive tour to visit Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures. You may also opt for a SIC transfer instead of self-drive. Hartley’s Crocodile Adventure is beautifully located just 100 metres off the Captain Cook Highway at Wangetti, between Cairns and Port Douglas. It is around 40 kilometres (40 minutes) north of Cairns and 25 kilometres (20 minutes) south of Port Douglas. The drive offers you sweeping views of the coasts of Australia and hence, it is widely recognised. Hartley’s is nestled within the Cook Highway section of the renowned Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Here, you can see several crocodiles of the North tropical region of Queensland. The sight of these creatures lazing on the shallow lagoon will enthral you. Entry to Hartley’s and all of its shows, including the Crocodile Attack Show, Wetlands Cruise and Snake Show are included in the package. Feel the thrill as you feel the wilderness at close quarters.
Head back to Cairns and in the afternoon visit the Cairns Zoo. It is an award-winning tropical garden where you can get up, close and personal with the wild creatures of Australia such as Koalas and Kangaroos as well as animals from around the globe. Later, head back to hotel for an overnight stay. |
Day5 | After a delicious breakfast, embark on a tour to some of the most beautiful locations of the area like Cape Tribulation, Daintree and Mossman. In the morning, you will be driven to Cape Tribulation in a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle. You will pass through some of the oldest rainforests in the world that are seething with exotic wildlife. Also, glide across the Daintree River on a cruise during this excursion. Savour a delicious tropical lunch amidst the lush rainforest and stroll on the famous Cape Tribulation Beach, which offers divine view of the rainforests against the azure sea. A driver - guide will accompany you on this tour and you will be served afternoon tea. Also, take an exciting tour of the Mossman Gorge Centre and head back to Cairns for an overnight stay. |
Day6 | Enjoy a buffet breakfast in the morning and the day is yours to spend as per your interest.
