Day1

Arrive at Cochin and check in to the hotel. Head out for a local sightseeing tour. Cochin will delight you with its myriad of ethnicity. From the beautiful Dutch Palace, centuries-old Jewish Synagogue, historic Chinese Fishing Nets to the oldest European church in India, St. Francis. Stroll on the waterfront promenade at Marine Drive and in the evening, return to the hotel. Spend a relaxed night at Cochin.

Day2

Treat your palates with some amazing breakfast in the morning and head for Munnar. It is 150 kms away from Cochin and takes around four hours to reach there. Enjoy the view of those rolling hills covered in the blanket of lush plantations and forests. The mist and the awesome weather is going to wake your dormant soul. Check in at the hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Spend a comfortable night at the hotel in Munnar.

Day3

After a wholesome breakfast, get set to take in the beautiful vistas and panoramic views of the valleys and hillocks of Munnar. Head out for a local sightseeing tour and visit the magnificent Mattupetty Dam. Hear your voice boomerang at the Echo Point and visit the Tea Plantations that abound the terrains of Munnar. Also, visit the Eravikulam National Park and have a rendezvous with the wildlife of Kerala. In the evening, head back to the hotel and spend a comfortable night in Munnar.

Day4
|
Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and check out from the hotel. Hit the winding road and head to Thekkady, which is around 125 kms away from Munnar. Later check in to the hotel and take some rest. Next up is a visit to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary at an extra cost. Here, you can see Thekkady’s rich wildlife and enjoy ambling under the lush canopies of the forest. Later, go for a tour to the aromatic spice plantations and later enjoy shopping at the local markets (extra cost). In the evening, head back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day5

After a filling breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey. Known for its ethereal backwaters and palm-fringed shores, Alleppey has mesmerising sceneries. It is around 160 kms away from Thekkady. Later, check out from the hotel and glide on the serene backwaters (extra cost). Watch the pristine shores, interrupted only by patches of verdant paddy fields and clutter of huts. The experience of cruising through the mirror-still water is truly unique. Late in the evening, head back to the hotel for a relaxed overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day6

Savour the local cuisines and check out from the hotel. Head towards the splendid beach location of Kerala – Kovalam. It is around 170 kms away from Alleppey. It has crescent beaches and breathtaking views of the azure sea. Check in to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day. You may even stroll on beaches of Kovalam and let the ocean play a symphony for you with its crashing waves. In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kovalam.

Day7

After a refreshing breakfast in the morning, visit the capital city of Kerala – Trivandrum. It is around half an hour drive from Kovalam. Here, you can visit the Lord Vishnu temple. One has to be careful about dressing while visiting here, as the temple has mandatory dress code to allow entry. Many other places of interest sit on the list for you like Kuthiramalika Palace, Zoo, Art gallery and Museum. You may visit another renowned temple here, Shri Padmanabhaswamy temple. After offering your prayers to the deities, head back to Kovalam in the evening for an overnight stay in Kovalam.

After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and board your flight or train for your journey home with lots of amazing experiences. The feeling sure is mixed as the trip ends, but the warm memories of the tour will perpetually remain in your heart.
