Arrive at the Bagdogra Airport in Darjeeling and start your exciting journey to Bhutan from here. On this road trip, you will cross the Indo-Bhutanese border to arrive at Phuentsholing, the gateway to Bhutan. At this is the very junction, you’ll get the permit to enter Bhutan. Checkin to your hotel in Phuentsholing and rest for the night

Start your day with breakfast and check-out of the hotel to start a thrilling journey to Thimphu. Traverse through the North Indian tea plantations and stay amazed. Check-in to your hotel and relax for the day. You may take a stroll near the Clock Tower Square.

As the beautiful Himalayan sunrise greets you today morning, enjoy your breakfast and get ready to experience the culture of Bhutan as you visit themost iconic places. Visit National Memorial Chorten that is dedicated to the 3rd king of Bhutan and Motithang Takin Preserve, reserved for Takin, Bhutan’s national animal. Proceed to National Library and Folk Heritage Museum displaying Bhutanese antiques. In the afternoon, take a short walk to Handicraft Bazaar.  Return to your hotel for the night.

Post breakfast, check-out and drive to your next destination, the Paro valley. You will visit Ta Dzong which was a watchtower of the fortress Trongsa Dzong, and is now converted into a state-of-the-art museum. Visit Taktsang Palphug Monastery or Paro Taktsang which is a sacred temple complex, located on a cliff.  You will have to hike for about 2 hours from the base to reach this place. Your last stop will be Kyichu Lhakhang, a Buddhist temple. Return to your hotel for the night.

Enjoy your breakfast and check-out to head back to Phuentsholing. On your way visit Kharbandi Gompa, regarded as the birth place of Bhutan’s Buddhism. Check-in to the hotel and spend the overnight in Phuentsholing.

After breakfast, check-out and head to the airport/railway station for journey back home.
