Day1
|
Arrive at Paro International Airport in Bhutan. After permit formalities, transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city which lies in the lap of a beautiful valley. Check-in to the hotel and get ready to behold the beauty of Bhutan. Visit the Memorial Chorten, a shrine built in the honour of the third King of Bhutan. Then head to Kuensel Phodrang which has the world’s largest sitting Buddha statue, the Buddha Dordenma statue. Take a tour to the Motithang Takin Preserve, a mini zoo and enjoy the sight of Bhutan’s wildlife. Head to BBS Tower for a bird’s eye view of the Thimphu valley. Adventure seekers can indulge in mountain-biking at a supplement cost. Spend the overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day2
|
Energise yourself with a breakfast. Head to Folk Heritage Museum and gain insights into the Bhutanese culture, then visit the Royal Textile Academy & Museum where you may see antique textile artefacts. The next stop is the Thangthong Dewachen Nunnery located in Zilukha. It shows you how to live a content life with minimum resources. Take a tour to Tashichho Dzong, a Buddhist monastery and a fortress. Later, visit the National Handicraft Emporium for a variety of Bhutanese handicrafts made by rural women. If you happen to be in Thimpu on a weekend, you will be taken to the weekend markets where one can bargain for local items and handicrafts. Enjoy a peaceful overnight at your hotel in Thimpu.

Day3
|
Savour the breakfast before you embark on a beautiful day out. Check-out and start your three-hour drive to Punakha. En route, halt at Dochula, a mountain pass leading further into the Punakha valley. A stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the Eastern Himalayan mountain ranges will leave you spellbound. The view is spectacular on clear winter days with snow-capped mountains. Visit Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang on your way back to Punakha. Check-in and spend a relaxing overnight at Punakha.

Day4
|
Enjoy your breakfast in the morning. Visit the Phobjikha valley, a spectacular valley also known for the rare black-necked cranes that migrate from the Tibetan plateau. This valley is also known as the Gangtey after the monastery. The Gangtey Monastery in the Phobjikha valley further adds to the serenity of the valley. Spend the overnight at Punakha.

Day5
|
Relish your breakfast and check-out from the hotel. In the morning, head to Paro. Check-in to the hotel and gear up for Paro. The Paro valley is a beautiful area covered in fertile rice fields and has a lucid river flowing down the valley. Travel to Drukgyel Dzong, the ruins of an old fortress and take advantage of the backdrop to click artistic pictures. Thereafter, proceed to Kyichu Lhakhang, a famous Himalayan Buddhist temple. After visiting the temple, make your way to the National Museum of Bhutan, Ta Dzong. Spend the night in the comfort of your room in Paro.

Day6
|
Have a scrumptious breakfast and set out for an adventurous tour. Head to Chele La Pass located at 12,200ft above sea level and is the highest motorable road in Bhutan. On a clear day, you can see the breathtaking Mt. Jomolhari, the second highest peak of Bhutan, and other Himalayan giants. Do visit Rinpung Dzong while returning to Paro. Rest of the day is at leisure. Spend the overnight in Paro.

Day7
|
After having a delicious breakfast, put on your comfortable walking shoes and head on a three-hour trek to Taktsang Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also called as the Tiger's Nest, this monastery will surely leave you stunned, and perhaps a little out of breath as you trek up to the edge of the mountain. Experience the bliss and spiritual ambience in and around the monastery. Stay overnight in Paro.

After a relaxed breakfast, check-out from the hotel and head to Paro International Airport for departure to your final destination.Cherish the serene memories from your tour.
