Day1
|
Start your Treasures of Europe escorted coach tour in the morning. For those who are joining the tour in London, cross the English Channel by ferry or Eurotunnel. For those who are joining in Brussels, an option of doing the same is available at a marginal supplement. The first stop of the trip is Brussels, the capital city of Belgium followed by lunch. Proceed for a photo stop at the most iconic structure of Brussels, The Atomium, a futuristic monument originally constructed in 1958. After a drive past in Brussels tour, proceed to an Indian restaurant for dinner. Finally check-in at the hotel and spend a comfortable overnight in Strasbourg.

Day2

After breakfast, check-out early and assemble in the lobby. Proceed to the Black Forest region in South Germany where you will be entertained with a demonstration on how the cuckoo clocks are made and you may purchase them along with other souvenirs after head to a local restaurant for lunch. Proceed to Switzerland and witness the largest plain waterfalls in Europe, the Rhine Falls. Then depart for Lucerne to view the Lion Monument, a rock relief in Lucerne and one of the oldest wooden bridges in the world, the Chapel Bridge. Finally check-in at the hotel to spend a comfortable overnight stay in Engelberg.

Day3

After an early breakfast, get ready to visit Mt Titlis. It is advisable to carry sufficient warm clothes for this excursion into snow covered mountains. Get ready to ascend 10,000ft to the summit of Mt. Titlis and take the world’s first revolving cable car, the Titlis Rotair to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Swiss landscapes. This will be followed by lunch. In the afternoon, depart for the hotel near Venice. On arrival at this beautiful Italian city of canals, an Indian dinner will be served. Finally check-in your hotel and spend a restful overnight stay in Padova.

Day4

After breakfast, check-out your hotel and depart for Venice, the most romantic city in Italy with its distinctive architecture and famous gondola rides. Proceed for a boat ride to St. Mark’s Square, one of the most elegant squares in the world followed by a visit to the famous Bridge of Sighs and the Basilica di San Marco. Visit the Murano Glass Showroom where from you may purchase some beautiful Murano glass items, followed by a romantic gondola ride and a local lunch. In the afternoon, depart for the hotel near Rome. On arrival, have a continental dinner and then check-in the hotel to spend a comfortable night in Rome.

Day5

Breakfast will be served at the coffee shop of the hotel. Begin the tour with a photo stop at the Colosseum which is surrounded by other sights such as Arch of Constantine. Visit the Time Elevator, which is a multi-sensorial and dynamic cinematic experience. Next proceed to the Vatican City, home to the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church to see the St. Peters Basilica. Proceeding further, visit the Trevi Fountains. Since there is a restriction on coaches entering different parts in the centre of the Rome, walking down the distance is mandatory. Enjoy a local lunch during the day and an Indian dinner at night and finally have an overnight stay at the hotel near Rome.

Day6

Complete your check-out formalities after breakfast and depart for Florence. The tour of this renaissance city starts by viewing the impressive architecture of some of the finest historic buildings in Italy, such as the Florence Cathedral, along with photo stops at Basilica of Santa Croce, the final burial place of Michelangelo, statue of David replica, famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge on the Arno River and The Piazelle Michelangelo, for the most outstanding views of Florence. After lunch at a local restaurant, get prepared to explore the place around by walking as coaches are not permitted in the city center. After an eventful day head to an Indian restaurant for dinner and then check-in to your hotel in Serravalle Pistoiese.

Day7

After breakfast check-out your hotel and leave for Pisa. On arrival, head forth to visit the stunning Duomo built almost 1,000 years ago and the cathedral’s bell tower better known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Proceed for lunch at a local restaurant in the vicinity and then continue your journey to Geneva. Here get ready to visit the United Nations Building; The Flower Clock, the symbol of Geneva; and the Jet d’Eau (operation permitting). After this have an Indian dinner and then check-in the hotel in Gex.

Day8

After an early breakfast, check-out your hotel and head for Paris. Have lunch on own and then proceed to enjoy a cruise along the River Seine. The cruise is perfectly designed to discover and admire the rich architecture such as the Eiffel Tower, Musée d’Orsay, Notre Dame Cathedral among others. Later, have a short orientation tour to admire the amazing architecture of Paris which will be followed by dinner and then you will be transferred to check-in to the hotel in Paris for an overnight in Palaiseau.

After breakfast, check-out your hotel and embark on a journey to the top floor of Eiffel Tower for a breath taking bird's eye view of Paris. Later drive through Avenue Des Champs Elysees, the most prestigious avenue in Paris before driving back to Calais to cross the channel in case returning back to London. For those who are heading to an onward destination or are homeward bound, you many end your tour at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport for your return flight. Bid farewell to the group arriving at your drop off point and return home with wonderful memories of the Treasures of Europe.
