London:
London’s a wild mix of experiences, and honestly you should go for it once in your lifetime. You’ve got Buckingham Palace, and there's the Tower of London, which is equal parts creepy and cool, with all that gory history of kingdoms. The British Museum? You could get lost for days in there, and good luck seeing half of it. Want to see the city from above? The London Eye’s basically a giant Ferris wheel, but hey, the view is unbeatable.
Beyond London:
Now, if you want to escape the city’s chaos, there’s plenty going on outside London. Edinburgh Castle’s perched on a hill like it owns the place (which, honestly, it kind of does). Stonehenge? Still mysterious, still a bunch of big rocks… but in a cool, mystical way. The Lake District is all rolling hills and photo ops — pack your hiking boots.
- Buckingham Palace - Home to the Queen of England. The changing of guards which happens at 11:30am is a fascinating sight to witness.
- Tower of London - A 900-year-old historic castle and fortress at the banks of river Thames. It is famous for housing the crown jewels and for holding many infamous prisoners.
- Big Ben - This clock tower is one of the most prominent places to visit in London.
- London Eye- Get a panoramic view of London from this giant Ferris wheel.
- Stonehenge - This famous World Heritage site in England
- Old Trafford - A stadium in Manchester that consists of a famous club, theatre, sports arena, and museum.
