    Arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station – Shillong

    Welcome! Once you arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station there will be a transfer to Shillong. On the way, you can visit Umium Lake. Once you arrive at Shillong, you can check into your hotel for the night and unwind for the day.

    Shillong - Laitlum Canyons - Krang Suri Falls - Shillong

    After breakfast, proceed to Laitlum Canyons for breathtaking views. Then visit Krang Suri Falls, one of the best waterfalls in Meghalaya. Enjoy swimming in a naturally formed pool. Return to Shillong after lunch.

    Shillong – Mawsynram – Mawphlang Sacred Forest – Shillong

    After breakfast, visit Mawsynram, known for the highest rainfall in the world. Explore the caves in the area. Later, visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove, one of the biggest Sacred Groves in Meghalaya. Also, visit a Khasi model village. In the evening, return to Shillong and visit Elephanta Falls.

    Shillong - Dawki - Mawlynnong Village - Cherrapunji

    After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong Village, the cleanest village in Asia. This cute and colourful little village is known for its cleanliness. It is situated 90 km from Shillong, and besides the picturesque village, it offers many interesting sights such as the Living Root Bridge and the strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. After that, proceed to Dawki. Dawki is along the Indo-Bangladesh border. You can enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River. In the evening, proceed to Cherrapunjee.

    Get up early to enjoy the mesmerising mornings of Cherrapunjee. Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, and Thangkharang Park. Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

    Optional Activity: Proceed for a full day trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. Need to trek approx. 3200 steps each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge. We can further trek down to the Rainbow Falls, which takes about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.

    Day_06___Guwahati[1]

    Cherrapunjee - Guwahati

    After breakfast, proceed to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, a place where Assamese history and culture is presented; one may also visit the Assam Film Museum to know the history of Assamese cinema. Visit GTAC Tea Lounge to enjoy a cup of the finest Assam tea and also carry some tea back home. Here you will find the finest quality of organic, CTC, orthodox, green tea, white tea, purple tea, etc. In the evening, you may take a river cruise on the mighty River Brahmaputra. You may also visit the local market. Assam is famous for Assam Silk, particularly Golden Muga Silk, Assam Tea, Bamboo, and Cane Products.

    Departure

    After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple (timing: 08:00 A.M. till 01:00 P.M. & 3:00 P.M. till it gets dark). Transfer to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onwards journey.

    Note: In case of early morning departure, Kamakhya Temple might be covered the previous day instead of visiting Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra Museum. We suggest you take an evening flight/train for departure so that we can offer you a few more sightseeing points on the day of departure.

    Booking & Cancellation Policy:

    • The package is fully non-refundable in case of a no-show or cancellation.
    • 100% advance payment is required to process the booking.
    • Any changes in Government rules (India or visiting / transiting / quarantining country) the booking is fully non-refundable.

    • Prices are quoted per person on a minimum of 2 adults travelling together.
    • EMI price is calculated based on 12 months EMIs. 6  & 9 months EMIs are also available.
    • Rooms and Rates are subject to availability at the time of Confirmation.
    • There is no refund for any non-utilization of any services.
    • The standard check-in time is 1500hrs and the check-out time is 1100hrs.
      The supplement will be applicable for guaranteed early check-in or late check-out if any.
    • From 2300 hours - 0700 hours, private arrival / departure transfers shall be applicable.
    • At this point, no services are confirmed and the same is subject to availability.
    • For one adult and one child travelling please consider the adult rate for the child.
    • Accommodation for the child as stated in the Child policy of Individual hotels. A child below 02 years is considered an infant and 02 years to 12 years are considered to be a child.
    • Surcharges are applicable during festivals, blackout periods, long weekends, conventions, special events, Chinese New Year, New Year, Air shows, and trade fairs. Additional options are available upon request.
    • Prices are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without any prior notice depending on travel dates and availability.
