Arrival at Dehradun
The tour begins with a pick-up from Dehradun Airport or Railway Station one day before the scheduled Char Dham Yatra departure, followed by a transfer to the hotel. In the evening, our team will conduct a detailed briefing on the entire Char Dham Yatra at 20:30 hrs.
Each guest will be provided with a duffel bag during the briefing, in which essential luggage must be packed. Please note that a maximum of 5 kg per person is permitted.

Yamunotri
7:00/10:00 AM - Departure Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun & Arrival Kharsali Helipad, Yamunotri
The auspicious Char Dham Yatra begins from the Sahastradhara Helipad in Dehradun. Guests will check out from the hotel at the designated time, after which our representative will escort them to the helipad.
Upon arrival, our ground personnel will warmly welcome the guests and assist them in settling into the waiting lounge. Pre-flight instructions will be provided before boarding the helicopter.
Upon arrival at Kharsali, guests will be received by our ground staff and transferred to the Yamunotri Temple by palki or pony. The trek from the helipad to the temple is approximately 6 kilometres, and a round trip by palki typically takes around 5 hours. After darshan, guests will return to the helipad and proceed to their accommodation. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at Kharsali.

Gangotri
Departure Kharsali helipad, Yamunotri Arrival Harsil Helipad
After checking out from the hotel at the designated time, guests will board the helicopter from Kharsali Helipad and arrive at Harsil Helipad, Gangotri, within the estimated flight duration.
Nestled in one of Uttarakhand’s most breathtaking valleys, Harsil is often referred to as Mini Switzerland due to its stunning natural beauty. From Harsil Helipad, Gangotri Temple is approximately 22 kilometres away, with a scenic drive taking around 50 minutes by car.
It is recommended that guests proceed directly to the temple upon landing. Our ground staff will assist with darshan at Gangotri Temple, ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching experience.
After returning from the temple, guests can enjoy lunch at the resort, followed by some well-earned relaxation. In the evening, unwind by the campfire or take a leisurely walk to the nearby village, where you can shop for authentic woollen items such as sweaters, shawls, and mufflers—handcrafted by local tribal women.
This part of the journey offers not just spiritual depth but also cultural charm, making it a cherished highlight of the Char Dham Yatra.

Kedarnath
Departure Harsil Helipad & Arrival Kedarnath Helipad
Guests are advised to check out from their hotel at the designated time, after which they will proceed to Harsil Helipad. From Harsil, guests will fly onward to Guptkashi/ Phata, continuing their Char Dham journey.
At Guptkashi/Phata, guests will board a helicopter shuttle to Kedarnath Dham. The helicopter will land at Kedarnath Helipad, located approximately 500 meters from the temple. Our ground staff will assist with VIP darshan arrangements, ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience.
Darshan at Kedarnath typically takes around 2 hours, while the shuttle flight duration is approximately 10 minutes each way.
After darshan, guests will return to Guptkashi/Phata by helicopter and will be transferred by road to their hotel. The overnight stay will be arranged either at Guptkashi or Kedarnath, depending on the itinerary and weather conditions.

Note: Night halt at Kedarnath will be arranged on a triple or quad sharing basis and is payable directly by the guests. Please be advised that the accommodation qualityy available at Kedarnath Dham is modestly above average. Badrinath
Departure Kedarnath / Guptkashi/ Phata Helipad & Arrival Badrinath Helipad
After breakfast, guests will check out from their hotel in Guptkashi and proceed to Guptkashi/ Phata helipad. From there, they will board a helicopter bound for Badrinath Dham.
Upon arrival at Badrinath Helipad, passengers can check in to their hotel, conveniently located near the temple. Our ground staff will assist with darshan at the sacred Badrinath Temple, ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling visit.
In the evening, a visit to the nearby Mana Village is highly recommended. Known as the first Indian village after the international border with China, Mana offers a rare glimpse into local Himalayan culture, mythology, and scenic beauty.

Return to Dehradun
Departure Badrinath Helipad & Arrival Sahastradhara Helipad, Dehradun
Early in the morning, guests may participate in the Special Abhishek Puja at Badrinath Temple (optional and at personal cost). This sacred ritual begins promptly at 5:30 AM and lasts for approximately 2 hours. Participants are
given a rare opportunity to sit inside the temple and witness the Shringar Darshan of the deity from close quarters.
After the puja, guests will return to their hotel for breakfast, followed by a helicopter flight to Dehradun. Upon arrival at the Dehradun Helipad, transfers will be arranged to the airport or railway station.

Guidenlines:
- Fixed flight timings: This helicopter tour follows fixed daily departure schedules for each destination. Passengers must strictly adhere to the designated Estimated Time of Departure (ETD) each day. Failure to comply will result in the passenger being marked as a NO-SHOW. The final and accurate flight timings will be shared one day before the Yatra.
- Passengers' weight: Passengers must provide their accurate body weight at the time of booking. If a discrepancy is found during travel that causes the total aircraft weight to exceed the limit of 450 kg, the affected passenger(s) will be de-boarded, and their Heli-tour will be cancelled—no refunds will be provided in such cases. Mandatory weighing will be conducted before boarding. If the actual weight exceeds the declared weight at the time of booking, boarding will be denied. Additionally, we reserve the right to reshuffle passengers to ensure optimal weight distribution for safe flying conditions in the hills.
- Overweight charges: Per Seat Basis Only - Excess weight charges for the Char Dham helicopter tour are fixed at ₹2,000 per kilogram, applicable to passengers whose body weight exceeds 75 kg. In case of any discrepancy in the declared weight, charges based on the excess weight will apply. The applicable amount will be collected either at the hotel prior to the day of departure or at the helipad before flight boarding.
- Baggage allowance: Only 5 Kg baggage per passenger will be permitted. Passengers are advised not to carry big suitcases as there is very small baggage space inside the helicopter. Passengers bringing excess baggage might not be allowed to take the same in the chopper by pilot. To address this, our staff provides duffle bags to all passengers during briefing. The total baggage allowance is determined based on the group’s combined body weight. If the total exceeds the permissible limit of 450 kg, excess luggage will be transported by road, and the additional cost will be shared among all passengers in that helicopter.
- Infant: Children above the age of 2 years will be considered full ticket. Infants below 02 Yrs /12 Kg are carried free of charge. In case of verification of age, ID proof (Birth certificate) of the child shall be checked.
- Bad Weather & Force Majeure Disclaimer: Helicopter operations in hilly terrain are highly susceptible to unpredictable factors such as adverse weather conditions and various Force Majeure events. These may include delayed Air Traffic Control clearances or permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying restrictions issued by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM), unexpected technical issues in the aircraft, illness of the flying crew, and late reporting of passengers at helipads, among other unforeseen circumstances. Passengers are advised to remain prepared for potential delays and inconveniences caused by these uncontrollable factors. We strongly recommend that guests plan for an additional buffer day in Dehradun beyond the standard 05N/06D tour duration. This precautionary measure ensures flexibility in case of severe weather conditions or other disruptions that may lead to a tour extension.
- Medical emergencies: Company shall not be liable for any medical emergency on the ground to the party, and thus advises guests to get a fitness certificate from a doctor to travel to the high-altitude sector. The Company reserves the right to refuse to carry any person whom it considers unfit for travel or who, in the opinion of the Company, may constitute a risk to the helicopter or to the persons on board. No refund shall be made to such passenger(s).
- COVID Travel Guidelines: All passengers and staff must strictly adhere to COVID protocols as mandated by prevailing government guidelines. Failure to comply may result in denial of boarding, and no refunds will be issued in such instances.
- Aadhar Card copies are to be shared by all Indian passengers, & passport in case of foreign nationals.
- Any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony and porter charges shall be borne by the passengers.
- The company has its own crew at all the Dham's. For any guidance or assistance, Passengers are free to reach out to them.
- Network connectivity at Badrinath is very poor. BSNL & Jio are the main telecom services that work in these regions, mostly, but not always. However, our staff shall be with the passengers for assistance at all times.
- Passengers are advised to carry a small oxygen bottle with them as a precaution. It is available locally at all medical shops.
- Although day temperatures at these locations are normal, it becomes cold at night, and so passengers must carry woollen clothes with them.
- All passengers are advised to carry their own medication.
- We would like to inform our pilgrims that we do not provide insurance coverage for accidents, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, we strongly recommend that pilgrims make their own arrangements for insurance coverage. Please note that all baggage and personal belongings are solely the responsibility of the client at all times.
Booking & Cancellation Policy:
As a company, we are always honoured to protect the benefits of our guests and business partners and to always provide the best price, the best package, and convenience in cancellation conditions for them. The cancellation policy below is only for land services, and in case flights are booked from us, we will follow the cancellation policy of airline companies for flights.
Payment terms:
- Package Confirmation & Booking, please deposit the 50 % amount of the Tour cost to process the booking and the balance amount is to be paid 15 days before from your departure dates.
- Passengers are only allowed to board or initiate the tour after completing the full and final payment for the tour.
Cancellation policies:
- Administrative Fee: Upon confirmation of the booking, if the guest subsequently chooses to cancel, a deduction of 5% on the total package cost will be applicable, irrespective of the reason for cancellation.
- Cancellation Charges Based on Notice Period:
- Up to 30 days prior to departure: 30% of the package amount
- Up to 20 days prior to departure: 50% of the package amount
- Within 14 days of departure: No refund will be provided
- No Show: No refund will be provided
- Credit Note: A credit note will be issued for any cancellation of a confirmed booking, subject to the above terms.
Terms and Conditions:
- EMI price is calculated based on 12 months EMIs. 6 & 9 months EMIs are also available.
- Prices are valid for travel till June 30, 2026.
- Prices are quoted per person on a minimum of 2 adults travelling together.
- The standard check-in time is 1500hrs and the check-out time is 1200hrs.
The supplement will be applicable for guaranteed early check-in or late check-out if any. - Surcharge applicable for transfers between 2000hrs - 0600hrs.
- Rooms and Rates are subject to availability at the time of Confirmation.
- There is no refund for any non-utilization of any services.
- At this point, no services are confirmed and the same is subject to availability.
- For one adult and one child travelling please consider the adult rate for the child.
- Cost is based on guests travelling together on the same flight.
- Surcharges are applicable during the festivals, blackout periods, long weekends, conventions, special events, Chinese New Year, New Year, and Air shows, and trade fairs. Additional options are available upon request.
- Prices are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without any prior notice depending on travel dates and availability.
- Musafir does not guarantee the approval of visa applications and all approval / rejections are subject to the rules and conditions of the respective authorities.
- Musafir solely acts as a facilitator for making travel arrangements and is not responsible for granting or rejecting of customer's entry into any country in any manner whatsoever. The sole decision is of the concerned Embassy and Musafir cannot be held liable for the same. - If there are any changes or cancellations in flights which are done by the airline, Musafir will not be responsible. Guests have to accept the airline option and if the new option does not match with the hotel reservation and the hotel reservation is Non-refundable then no refund will be given for hotel booking and guests will have to pay a New Rate Subject to availability. If guests agree to confirm their booking with the revised date then any difference in rate will have to be paid else guests can cancel the booking as per the applicable cancellation policy.
- In case the guest tests positive after the PCR test then they need to follow the local quarantine procedure. The cost would be paid by the guest directly. Musafir.com would not be responsible for any payment for the quarantine procedures if the guest tests positive.
