I filled and submitted all the passenger and payment details – I did not receive any e-ticket nor any confirmation on the booking, but my account was charged. What do I do now?
There is nothing to worry about. We will call you shortly and complete the booking process. We advise you not to try and book again in order to avoid the risk of getting charged twice.

What is an e-ticket?
An e-ticket (or an electronic ticket) is a paperless document with a unique confirmation number. Simply book a ticket on our website and we will email you the e-ticket and send you an SMS with the PNR. Carry a printout of the e-ticket along with a valid photo identification document to the airline counter while checking in for your flight.

How do I get my e–ticket?
We will send your e–ticket on the e-mail address submitted by you at the time of booking.

How do I get a boarding pass?
On producing your e-ticket along with a valid photo identification document at the airline check-in counter, you will be issued a boarding pass for your flight.

Do I have to show my e–ticket confirmation email at the airline check–in counter?
Yes. Some airports will not permit entry in to the airport terminal without a printout of your e-ticket. We advise you to carry a printout of your e-ticket.

Can I book tickets for infants on Musafir.com?
Yes, you can book tickets for infants who are less than two years old on Musafir.com. Make sure you have a valid age proof document of the infant when you are checking-in at the airport. Infants must be accompanied by an adult who is at least 18 years of age. You can book tickets for only one infant per adult. To avail infant fares, the infant must be under 2 years throughout the entire itinerary you are booking, which includes outbound and return journeys. You will have to make a separate booking using a child fare, if the infant is aged 24 months or above on the return journey.

What is the maximum number of seats I can book?
You can book a maximum of 9 seats at a time. If you want to book for more than 9 travelers, you will have to repeat the booking process for the rest of the travelers.

Why am I getting zero flight results on the search page?
Clear the cache of your browser and try searching again. If you still aren’t getting any flight results, it can be either because the flights for your chosen route cannot be found or because there are no flights available on the dates selected by you.

Do I have to show ID proof at the time of check–in at the Airport.
Yes. We recommend that you carry a valid government- issued photo identification proof whenever you fly.

How do I find out my baggage limit?
Baggage allowance varies from airline to airline depending on the route, frequent flyer membership, etc. Log on to the airline website (you are booked on) and visit the “baggage allowance” section to find out the baggage limit.

I’ve booked my tickets but need to add my child’s tickets to my booking. How do I do it?
A child's ticket cannot be added to an existing reservation. You will have to book your child's ticket separately.

I selected the wrong prefix (Mr./Mrs.) to a passenger’s name while booking. How can I get this changed?
In such a case, please give us a call with your Musafir booking reference. If the airline supports a change in title, we will provide your details. If not, you will have to cancel the tickets and book again, with the correct title. The charges of cancellation will apply.

What are the cancellation charges for my flight?
The flight cancellation charge depends on the airline, the sector and class of booking and the time of cancellation. Apart from the cancellation charges levied by the airline, Musafir.com India also charges an additional Rs 500 per passenger as cancellation fee for the international flights and Rs 300 per passenger as cancellation fee for a one-way ticket. For return ticket cancellation, a charge of Rs 300 per person - per sector will be charged for domestic flights.

If your flight was cancelled, kindly call us on 022 4164 2214 and our travel expert will assist you. We will verify with the airline and process your refund accordingly.

When can I apply for UAE visa?
You can apply for UAE visa anywhere between 58 to 5 working days prior to your travel date.

How long does it take to get UAE visa?
UAE visa is generally issued through an email within 5 working days of application, provided all documents are correctly submitted.

Is there an age criteria for applying UAE visa?
Yes, there is. Females below 30 years of age and males below 22 years of age need to apply for a UAE visa along with their father, mother or husband to avoid any chances of rejection.

What is the process for UAE Visa Application for senior citizens?
Senior citizens (above 65 years of age) need to apply for UAE visa along with any of their children or a family member (above 30 years of age) and will also require international travel insurance.

What documents are required for UAE visa application?
Every passenger applying for a UAE visa will have to submit the following documents:
Scanned copy of the first and last page of your passport. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
A recent passport size color photograph with white background and measuring 4.5 x 3.5cms
All above documents, if sent electronically, have to be submitted in JPEG format only.
Senior citizens, females (below 30 years of age) and males (below 22 years of age) along with the above mentioned documents will also have to submit additional documents of their family members.

My passport is expiring soon – can I still get a UAE visa?
All the visitors should have a passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of arrival in UAE. In case your passport is valid for less than 6 months, you will have to renew it before applying for UAE visa.

Do children or infants need a UAE visa?
Yes. Every passenger, including children and infants, must have a visa to enter UAE.

How will I receive my UAE visa?
Your UAE visa will be sent to the email address given by you at the start of the application process.

Do I have to submit my passport for stamping before I travel?
No stamping is required ahead of travel. You will receive your visa copy via email. Take a print out of your visa before you travel, and carry it with you.

I'm taking a flight to Sharjah from India. Should I opt fot a 96 hours tourist visa?
No. You should apply for the 96 hours UAE tourist visa only when your arrival and departure airport in UAE is Dubai International Airport (DXB). Also, you need to provide a copy of your confirmed return air-tickets to apply for this visa category.

Why was my UAE visa application rejected?
Unfortunately UAE authorities do not give reasons for rejecting a visa application. Therefore, we cannot provide specific reasons as to why your application was unsuccessful.

Will my UAE visa fees be refunded if my application is rejected?
The UAE immigration authorities do not refund the visa fees if the visa application is rejected.
