Domestic flight booking terms

    General terms:

     1. The total airfare amount displayed on the website is inclusive of all applicable government taxes.

     2. You have to pay the total cost of the air ticket to receive the confirmation of your domestic air ticket booking.

     3. We recommend you to refer to the airline terms & conditions before making a booking.

     4. All domestic air tickets issued to the passenger shall additionally be governed under the terms & conditions of the respective airline you have booked your air tickets with.

     5. By accepting our booking terms, you agree to terms & conditions of the respective airline you are booking the air ticket with.

     6. Musafir.com India charges a non-refundable convenience fee of Rs 250 for one way domestic flight booking per passenger and Rs 400 for round trip domestic flights per passenger. This is over and above the total air-ticket price.

     7. Musafir.com India is not responsible for any change in the flight schedule made by the airline after the issuance of your domestic air ticket. However, we will inform you of the changed schedule of your flight, if we get the information from the airline. We recommend that you to reconfirm your flight schedule directly with the airline 24 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure.

    Check-in terms:

     8. As per the standard airline rules, check-in time for domestic flight begins 2 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight.

     9. For domestic departures from Mumbai International airport, the check-in time is 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.

    10. To avoid ‘No-show’, we recommend that you should check-in at least 2 hours prior the scheduled departure of Air India and Air India Express domestic flights.

    Infant air-fares terms:

    11. Infants must be accompanies by an adult of at least 18 years of age.

    12. To benefit from the infant fares offered by airlines, an infant must be under 24 months of age throughout the entire journey including onward and return flights. If the infant is above 24 months of age during the return journey, you will have to make a separate booking using a child fare.

    13. Infants must have valid proof-of-age documents showing that the infant is less than two years old.

    Amendment policy:

    14. Every domestic airline ticket booked on Musafir.com India is subject to an amendment fee charged by the airline, which may differ from airline to airline, flight route and booking class.

    15. You can amend or change your domestic air ticket bookings by calling us at 022 4164 2214 or emailing us at cancellation@in.musafir.com 24 hours prior to your scheduled domestic flight departure.

    16. If you wish to amend or change your domestic air ticket booking in less than 24 hours of your scheduled departure than please call us at 022 4164 2214 or directly get in touch with the respective airline. Email or any other form of communications won’t be entertained.

    17. All bookings made through us can also be amended by calling up your respective airline call centre directly.

    18. Some booked fares may not be amended depending on the airline’s policy.

    19. If you wish to amend / alter / modify or change your booking, you will be charged the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made. However, if the amended fare is lower than the earlier booked fare, difference in the amount will not be refunded, but the re-booking charges will be collected on the time of making the amendment.

    20. Apart from the airline’s amendment fee, Musafir.com India charges an additional amendment processing fee of Rs 250 per passenger and per sector.

    Cancellation policy:

    21. Every domestic air ticket booked on Musafir.com India is subject to cancellation charges levied by the respective airline, which may vary with flight, route and class of booking.

    22. Some domestic air fares booked may be non-refundable as per the respective airline policy.

    23. For any cancellations prior to 24 hours to your scheduled flight departure, please contact us at 022 4164 2214 or email us at cancellation@in.musafir.com. Musafir.com India shall not be accountable to entertain any cancellation requests made through any other mode of communication.

    24. If you wish to cancel your domestic air ticket within 24 hours prior to your scheduled domestic flight departure than please call us at 022 4164 2214 or contact the respective airline directly.

    25. There will be no-refund for ‘no-shows’ or any partially unused flights.

    26. Musafir.com will levy Rs 250 per passenger and per sector for domestic air ticket cancellation. This fee will be over and above the airline cancellation charges.

    27. If you have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, you have to get in touch with the airline directly for cancellation. Musafir.com India will not be able to cancel the domestic air ticket in this case.

    Refund policy:

    28. You have to contact Musafir.com India for your domestic air ticket refund for bookings made by Musafir.com India, as the respective airline will not be able to process your refund.

    29. You have to inform Musafir.com India for cancellations made directly with the airline. You can do that by either email or phone within 48 hours of the cancellation, with valid documentations to initiate the refund process by Musafir.com India.

    30. Musafir.com India shall be in a position to process customer refunds against domestic flight tickets only if the same have been refunded by the respective airline.

    31. Convenience charge of Rs 250 for one-way domestic flight and Rs 400 for roundtrip domestic flights, paid at the time of booking is a non-refundable fee and same shall be applicable on all cancellations including any partial cancellation requests.

    32. If you cancel the flight directly with the airline, please inform Musafir.com India for a hassle-free refund process.

    33. Processing times for cancellations and refund requests vary.

    34. The average refund process takes 2 working days. However, the refund amount will show in your account anytime between 3-15 working days.

    35. If you have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, you have to directly get in touch with the airline for refunds. Musafir.com India will not be able to refund the amount.

    36. Musafir.com India will only be able to initiate your refund after receiving a receipt and/or confirmation of refund from the respective airline.

    37. Promo code discount and other discounts provided at the time of bookings will be deducted from the refund amount.

    38. The refund amount will be credited back to the same account from where the booking was confirmed.

    39. The on-board meal amount is non-refundable. However, in case the flight has been cancelled by the respective airline, the amount will be refunded.

    40. In case, the airline cancels the flight, full air ticket cost will be refunded to the passenger. This however, excludes the convenience fee charged by Musafir.com India at the time of booking.

    41. In case, the airline cancels the flight, the passenger needs to inform Musafir.com India for hassle-free refund process.

    42. In case, the airline discontinues its flight operations, Musafir.com India will not be accountable for any customer refunds wherein the same has not been refunded by the airlines.

    International flight booking terms

    General terms:

     1. The total airfare amount displayed on the website is inclusive of all applicable government taxes. However, it excludes all the applicable airport taxes or other charges levied by the airport at the time of check-in.

     2. You have to pay the total cost of the air ticket to receive the confirmation of your international air ticket booking.

     3. We recommend you to refer to the airline terms & conditions before making a booking.

     4. All international air tickets issued to the passenger shall additionally be governed under the terms & conditions of the respective airline you have booked your air tickets with.

     5. By accepting our booking terms, you agree to terms & conditions of the respective airline you are booking the air ticket with.

     6. Please ensure that the name entered in the traveller’s detail page is exactly as per the passport. Amendment/change in passenger name after the booking is confirmed is not permitted.

     7. On-board meals and special services are on request basis only. They are subject to the respective airline terms and conditions and Musafir.com India needs to get a confirmation from the airline on the same.

     8. You have to contact the airline directly for any information on your Frequent Flyer miles or promotion/tie-ups by the airline.

     9. We recommend all the passengers booking their international flight to ensure that they have relevant visa, transit visa (if applicable), immigration clearance and other relevant documents of the visiting and transiting countries.

    10. Do check that your passport has a validity of at least 6 months as on the date of travel from India.

    11. Musafir.com India will charge a convenience fee for availing Musafir.com India services. Musafir.com India reserves the right to alter any kinds of transaction fees from time to time, without any prior notice. The passenger shall be liable to pay all applicable charges, fees and taxes for availing the Musafir.com India services while making the booking.

    12. Musafir.com India charges a non-refundable convenience fee of Rs 499 per passenger for one way international flight and Rs 599 per passenger for round trip flights. This is over and above the total air-ticket cost.

    13. Musafir.com India reserves the right to cancel any flight booking made by any travel agent using a promotional offer for business purpose without prior notice. Our promotional offers are only valid for reservations booked for personal travel.

    14. Musafir.com India is not responsible for any change in the flight schedule made by the airline after the issuance of your international air ticket. However, we will inform you of the changed schedule of your flight, if we get the information from the airline. We recommend that you to reconfirm your flight schedule 24 hours prior to your flight departure with the airline directly.

    Check-in terms:

    16. We recommend passengers to carry appropriate travel permission documents (valid passport, immigration clearance, visa, etc) while checking-in at the airport. Musafir.com India is not responsible for any issues related to documentations.

    Infant air-fares terms:

    17. Infants must be accompanies by an adult of at least 18 years of age.

    20. Musafir.com India’s travel experts will assist you with amendments to your international flight bookings. However, in some cases, you will need to contact the respective airline directly.

    21. Every international airline ticket booked on Musafir.com India is subject to amendment fee charged by the airline, which may differ with airline, flight route class of booking.

    22. You can make amendments/change in your international air ticket bookings by calling us at 022 4164 2214 or emailing us at cancellation@in.musafir.com 48 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure.

    23. To make amendments in less than 48 hours prior of the scheduled international flight, passengers need to call us at 022 4164 2214 or directly get in touch with the respective airline. No other form of communications to cancel the booking will be entertained.

    24. All bookings made through us can also be amended by calling up your respective airline call centre directly.

    25. Some booked fares may not be amended depending on the airline’s policy.

    37. For any cancellations 48 hours prior to your scheduled international flight departure, please contact us at 022 4164 2214 or emailing us at cancellation@in.musafir.com. Musafir.com shall not be accountable to entertain any cancellation requests made through any other medium.

    38. For cancellation request within 48 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure, passenger should call us at 022 4164 2214 or directly contact the respective airline.

    39. Few airlines do not allow amendments or cancellations within 48 hours of the schedule flight departure and treats the booking as a ‘No Show’.

    40. Musafir.com India cannot process cancellation of few airline tickets. In such cases, passengers have to directly get in touch with the airline. The cancellation depends on the airline terms and conditions.

    41. There will be no-refund for ‘no-show’ or any partially unused flights.

    42. Musafir.com India will levy Rs 649 per passenger and per sector for international flight ticket cancellation. This fee will be over and above the cancellation fee levied by the airline.

    43. If you have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, you have to get in touch with the airline for cancellation. Musafir.com India will not be able to cancel your international air ticket in this case.

    Refund policy:

    44. You have to contact Musafir.com India for your international air ticket refund for bookings made by Musafir.com India as the respective airline will not be able to process your refund.

    45. You have to inform Musafir.com India for cancellations made directly with the airline. You can do that by either email or phone within 48 hours of the cancellation with valid documentations to initiate the refund process by Musafir.com India.

    46. Musafir.com India shall be in a position to process customer refunds against international flight tickets only if the same have been refunded by the respective airline.

    47. There will be no refund for ‘no shows’ or any partially unused flights.

    48. No refunds will be made on the ‘Non-refundable’ fares.

    49. Convenience fee of Rs 399 for one-way international flight and Rs 499 for roundtrip international flights, paid at the time of booking is a non-refundable fee and same shall be applicable on all cancellations including any partial cancellation requests.

    50. Processing time for cancellations and refund requests may vary.

    51. The average refund process takes 2 working days. However, the refund amount will show in your account between 3-15 working days.

    52. For partially utilized flight tickets (One sector flown and other sector cancelled), the refund will take anytime between 25 working days to 6 months depending on the airline.

    53. If the international flight ticket is cancelled directly with the airline, the refund process will take anytime between 15 days to 6 months depending on the airline processing time.

    54. If you have done a 'Web/Tele Check-in' with the airline, you have to get in touch with the airline for refunds. Musafir.com India will not be able to refund the amount.

    54. Musafir.com India will only be able to initiate your refund after receiving a receipt and/or confirmation of refund from the respective airline.
