Chimpanzee Trekking | Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park | Boat Cruise | Evening Game Drive
After breakfast, you will be driven to the briefing point at Kibale National Park. The chimpanzee trekking experience begins early and usually lasts two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. Join us as we trek through the forest in search of these remarkable primates. Once found, you will enjoy an extraordinary encounter with some of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. After the trek, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This expansive park, where wildlife and local communities coexist in harmony, lies on the Rift Valley floor with views of the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. On the Kasenyi and Ishasha plains, large herds of Uganda kob—the national antelope—are often seen, constantly alert for lions. Lakes Edward and George, connected by the Kazinga Channel, support around 5,000 hippos and a rich diversity of birdlife, while also attracting elephants and buffaloes. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, one of the best ways to view wildlife. Expect to see squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffaloes and hippos, basking crocodiles, and many other bird species and mammals. Later, you will go for an evening game drive.
