Day01

Arrival in Uganda | Travel to Murchison Falls National Park | Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary | Rhino Tracking
Upon arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide, who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport. You will then be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.
On your way, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, one of the most breathtaking activities in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa.
After rhino tracking, you will continue to Murchison Falls National Park. Your first attraction will be the Top of the Falls. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing white water as it squeezes through a narrow crevice below. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces beautiful rainbows.

Day02
|

Morning Game Drive | Boat Cruise | Birding | Evening Game Drive
After breakfast, you will set off very early (around 6:00 am) for a morning game drive.
During the drive, you will enjoy bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland, and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert Delta.
After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon (between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm), you will embark on a three-hour boat cruise on the Nile. This cruise offers amazing views of the falls from the bottom. You may see hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds along the riverbanks.
In the evening, you will head out for another game drive.

Day03
|

Travel to Kibale National Park | Bigodi Community Walk
After breakfast, you will travel from Murchison Falls National Park southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the Great Western Rift Valley toward Kibale National Park.
You will drive through Hoima and Kyejonjo District before reaching Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro Kingdom, located in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the “Mountains of the Moon.”
In the evening, you will visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a beautiful rainforest area rich in monkeys, birds, and possibly forest elephants.
Kyaninga Lodge is nestled on the edge of an extinct volcanic crater lake at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains.

Day04
|

Chimpanzee Tracking | Visit Sempaya Hot Springs
Chimpanzee tracking will start early in the morning and takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and later drive to the Sempaya Hot Springs, the main attraction of this area.
At the springs, you will witness water boiling naturally due to underground geothermal forces. The heat is so intense that you can boil eggs and matooke within minutes.

Day05
|

Amabere Caves | Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park | Boat Cruise | Evening Game Drive
After breakfast, you will visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the surrounding crater lakes.
This excursion includes hiking, learning about local culture and legends, and exploring the scenic crater lakes.
Afterward, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After check-in and lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This is one of the best wildlife viewing experiences, with sightings of hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.
Later, you will go for an evening game drive. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, warthogs, leopards, and waterbucks.

Day06
|

Ishasha Sector | Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest | Cultural Interaction
After an early breakfast, you will travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions.
You will search for lions resting in fig trees while Uganda kob graze on the plains.
After the game drive, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the famous mountain gorillas.
In the evening, you will enjoy a community walk to visit the Batwa people, an indigenous group known for their traditional dances and cultural heritage.

Day07
|

Gorilla Trekking | Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines.
You will then begin your trek through the rainforest. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Be sure to carry enough water, sturdy shoes, a rain jacket, and a non-flash camera.
After this unforgettable experience, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, a beautiful lake dotted with 29 islands.
The lake is surrounded by lush terraced hills and is considered one of the safest lakes in Africa for swimming.

Day08
|

Final Day | Equator Stop | Transfer to Entebbe | Departure
After breakfast, you will drive back to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator in Masaka, where you can take photos, buy souvenirs, and enjoy refreshments.
After lunch, you will continue to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
