    Alitalia is Italy’s flag carrier. The airline has new private owners since 2015 in the form of Alitalia-CAI owning 51 percent and Etihad Airways owning 49 percent of equity. The airline operates from the main hub in Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport in Rome and a secondary hub in Linate Airport in Milan. Alitalia’s focus cities are Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, Falcone–Borsellino Airport, Malpensa Airport, Turin Airport and Venice Marco Polo Airport.

Long-haul Business class is the top end of the cabin classes and it comes with all facilities including a flat-bed.

    With EgyptAir, one can avail the facility of web check-in. The passengers can check-in online from 48 hours before departure and until 90 minutes before the flight’s scheduled departure time.     The baggage allowance varies depending on the class of travel. For the first class and business class, the weight should not exceed 32 kg whereas for business class, it should not exceed 23kg.
