Documents Required for Norway visa
Here is a list of documents that you must carry when applying for a Norway visa.
- A Norway visa application form with all the details filled and with your signature
- Three recent passport-size colour photographs taken against a white background with a matte or semi-matte finish. Your face should cover 80% of the photo, and it should be 35mm x 45mm in size. The photo shouldn’t have any border torn or stapled.
- Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months after departure, with at least two blank pages for the relevant visa stamps. Passports older than 10 years as well as handwritten ones will not be accepted.
- A covering letter from the applicant mentioning the name, designation, passport details, hotel reservation details and duration of the visit is needed. Also, include contact details of your host in Norway. Get the letter signed by an authorised signatory with the company stamp and address it to ‘The Visa Officer, Royal Norwegian Embassy, New Delhi’
- A valid medical insurance policy, which will cover expenses of up to 30,000 Euros, valid for 15 days after your return from the Schengen area.
- Appointment letter and a reference letter from your employer if you are employed and a sanctioned leave letter.
- Original bank statement for the last 6 months, income tax returns of the last 3 years and last 6 salary slips which mentions the applicant’s name and address.
- Students need a sanction letter from school with ID proof.
