The Agra Airport also known as the Agra Civil Enclave, is located at a short distance of 5 km from the city. Also acting as the Kheria Airforce Station, this airport is essentially a military airbase as well.
The public airport enjoys a single terminal, with a reasonable passenger holding capacity of 250, both for arrivals as well as departures. Spanning on an area of approx. 4400 square metres, the terminal houses 5 check-in counters, 2 security counters, 3 immigration and 4 customs counters.
The airport is connected to some important destinations such as Gwalior, Khajurao and Kilimanjaro amongst others via direct flights. It also avails indirect routes to destinations in the North-East such as Gorakhpur and Agartala, West such as Jamnagar and Rajkot, North such as Varanasi, Central India such as Jabalpur and Southern India such as Madurai.
