Officially named as Govardhanpur Airport, the Jamnagar Airport essentially serves the state of Gujarat. The airport is also a Civil Enclave and is primarily owned and operated by Indian Air Force, but also allows the operation of commercial and private carriers.
It boasts of being the only airport of Gujarat with two runways. The airport houses a single terminal which caters to all the domestic carriers. Equipped with one check-in counter and one security counter, the airport enjoys a passenger holding capacity of 75 each, for arrivals as well as for departures.
The airport is prominently served by Air India which offers direct flight services to Mumbai. In addition, indirect flights services to numerous cities across the nation are also available from this airport.
