"Winter is not a season; it's a celebration."

The Harbin Ice and snow festival is the world's largest winter festival. Every year, this 2-month long festival in China celebrates the spirit of winter through massive ice sculptures with night illuminations. The record-breaking ice structures are spread across the city of Harbin.

The ice for creating the sculptures is sourced from the Songhua River. This year, the theme for the event has been divided into five categories - tourism, culture, fashion, trade, and sports.
