    You might have heard that Indians arriving at the UAE airports can get a visa as soon as they land in the country.

    Let’s take a look at the categories who qualify for the UAE Visa on Arrival.

    1. Indian passport holders with a Green Card or a Visa issued by the United States of America, which must be valid for at least six months can get UAE Visa on Arrival. The tourist visa will be valid for a maximum period of 14 days only. However, they can apply for a single extension of 14 days at an additional fee.

    2. Indian passport holders with a Residence Visa from the United Kingdom or from the member countries of the European Union (EU) can get UAE Visa on Arrival. The validity of the residence visa must be more than six months. Travellers will need to pay the entry permission fee at the Marhaba service desk before proceeding to the Passport Control. Having obtained the entry permit, the travellers can stay for a maximum period of 14 days. They can apply for a one-time extension of 28 days at an additional fee. Overstaying the visa period will attract fine.
