Initially during its construction period named Burj Dubai and later renamed Burj Khalifa to honor the UAE president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who helped with the funds for this billion-dollar project.

On 4th January 2020, Burj Khalifa will be completing its 10 years. It took six years to construct the tower since its excavation in 2004 and opened in January 2010. The Burj’s (Arabic word for tower) appearance is based on the Hymenocallis flower (spider lily).

The Observation deck ‘At The Top” located on the 124th, 125th, and 148th floor gives you a breathtaking view of the city.
