The Sun does not set!
As far as our formative years are concerned, we have been taught that the Sun ritually rises and sets. So we are simply not programmed to believe the otherwise - The Sun does not set!

1. Iceland
A sparsely populated European nation, Iceland experiences this unique situation. During summer, in Iceland, the sun sets at midnight. The country from the month of May through July receives bright sunlight! It is simply devoid of nights, and as a result, you get to see a midnight Sun.
2. Norway
Across the globe, Norway is known as the land of the midnight sun. For an extensive period of almost three months, the country experiences broad daylight. In fact, the sun tends to shine too glaringly around this time and the night is shrunk down to a span of 4 to 5 hours.
3. Canada
It will be an altogether queer trip to experience the Canadian summers with a predominantly white environment all around. The Sun scorches for almost over 7 successive weeks. This means that there is hardly a night, thereby allowing you to see the midnight Sun.
4. Alaska
In Alaska, whether you want to take a good look at the snow-decked mountains or plan to try some adventure sports, you can do it any time of the day for the sun just doesn’t set here! From the month of May till the month of July, the sun never sets.
5. Sweden
Sun setting at the midnight is such a sight in Sweden! And in fact, the Sun seems to be quite in love with the beauty of Sweden. This is because one can see that the Sun never takes a break for almost 6 months.
