How to apply for a passport in Mumbai

    Passport offices based in the different regions of Mumbai are covering various districts for issuing passports to the citizens of India. One of the oldest functioning offices since 1954 was named before as Central Passport Organization.

    Regional Offices Of PSK Located In Mumbai:-

    Mandatory Documents:

    While applying for the passport, you will require to submit address proof and age proof which widely covers documents mentioned below:-

    • Pension documents
    • Aadhaar card
    • Ration card
    • Voter ID carde
    • Phone bill with current address
    • Age proof – Following can be treated as the age proof for the application.
    • School leaving certificate
    • Birth certificate

    Application Process:

    You can apply for the passport through the online as well as the offline mediums by visiting one of the nearest above mentioned PSK branch offices. The application process involves following steps:-

    • Register for a new account or if you are existing user login your account.
    • Online application for initiating the process or you can fill it offline and upload it later.
    • Proceed for the payments and book an appointment for the verification.
    • Visit the RPO branch near you for the verification.

    Things to Remember:

    • Keep your signatures same throughout the entire process to avoid any discrepancy.
    • Fill in the information correctly, so that there will be no room for rejection.
    • Ready all the documents required for the process.
    • Always remember to submit clean copies of all the requested documents.
